Hey...I won!

Hey, everybody! Well, right now I'm in the middle of school being canceled, a morning of no electricity at the restaurant and a honkin' messy house. But guess what? I got some good news on Monday night when I found out that I won a t-shirt design contest over at ashirtforeverything.com!!! You can see the post announcing that I won here, but I've also included a picture of my entry:

I was just tickled pink about winning! So, I get to judge the next contest (and pick the topic - which I have chosen, but Casey hasn't announced it yet). Such fun! It brightened up this otherwise icy and miserable week!

Hi! Before I post about the new shirts I did this morning, I wanted to add a quote to my post from yesterday. I am adding the quote "Chloe, kitchen towels are NOT for boogers." There's another one I never thought I would say. I'm sure I'll come across more on a daily basis. I'll try to share.

So, I did a new Groundhog Day design. I don't know what it is about Groundhog Day for me. Just that glimmer of hope that Spring might be just around the corner. Hey, I know I'm grasping, but I really don't like winter. Anyway, here they are. One for the chickies and one that's more for the boys:

Hey...I'm hot! (Well, sort of)

So, I wake up this morning and have two lovely emails from Zazzle. One stating that I designed the Hottest Funny T-shirt of the Day, and one stating that I designed the hottest Sticker of the Day. Go figure. It does make me pretty darn happy, though. The two designs are below...they are the two Halloween Designs I did yesterday. The 'Official Candy Inspector' design also won a Today's Best award (on a tote bag). I just got lots of thumbs up yesterday, which makes me feel fantastic.

Hey...I finally won something

Well, here's the first post in my new blog. OK...with running after two kids, I'm a little bit behind the times. ANYWAY, I won the 'Most Worshipped Mom Action Shot' on Zazzle.com. I won $750 cash and $250 to spend on Zazzle. Way cool. Granted, there weren't a lot of entries, but I'm fine with that. I'm going to try to post something here at least once a week...after the kids go to bed. Let's hope that works, and you can get to know me :)
